A bar I frequented got a citation from the liquor control board for my “overserving.” Sure, I downed a bunch of scotch and beer while having a cigar and shooting pool. I cut myself off (just the hand back and forth by neck, knew bartender obviously). Eventually have one more single scotch before closing out. Now, I knew all the staff and they knew me, and that I always walked, or Ubered if cold. On the way out I get a sixer to go for beer n pizza when I got home. Well… because I was quite intoxicated, and the bar couldn’t control when/ where I was gonna drink the beer, or what I was gonna do, they got cited. I was a seriously seasoned boozehound then, so I could stumble home no prob. But, I coulda started bombing beers and walking thru traffic. Dunno if they factored the big cigar I smoked, but that was a shit ton of nicotine. 6/10 would recommend. Also, real small town, I got a lot of side eye from all bartenders subsequent weeks….
