It's hard, realizing that almost all of your friends and family are completely incapable of independent thought.
It's harder still realizing that they are actually intelligent, and are still so easily manipulated.
But the hardest thing is understanding that you have to be strong, and do the right thing, while they all call you a fool and claim you're being manipulated, claim that you cannot trust your own eyes, claim that you must trust people in authority, people that you have never met.
It's really hard, but if you strengthen your resolve, it will get easier.
