Is that why Ram is a thing?

Depends what part of the US you are in. Here in the north east, Chevys snd GMCs rule, Ford is 2nd and Ram is in 3rd.

In the Southwest, I believe Ram is most popular, then Ford with Chevy/GMC less popular.

HP wise, I think the Chevy/GMC puts out more torque/HP (Duramax) than Ford or Ram. I haven't been following the truck stats since they flew past $75K a few years ago.

The Rams seem to be spec'd for more hauling/load capacity IIRC.

I have an older GMC 2500 Duramax with tuner, love the HP and torque ... no DEF (2007 Classic model) and the DIC says I'm getting 24MPG highway in the summer.

As far as this meme, it's more to do with the Challenger and Hellcat engines I think.

Is that an old Volvo? If so, there are greenies in Vermont who just went cold fusion.

I think it's one of the early '80s Dodge "K" cars or what came right after.

The original k-turds all had recessed rectangular headlights except for the last generations, those had straight up and down.

The very last ones, the 1990s Lebaron, had a more aerodynamic look like this, but were rounded with the car body with a few others being sold with more rounded headlamps.

This looks like one of those last-gen AMC Eagle Premier or a Volvo (which the Premier was copying.) The premier was about the quality of a 1970 Chrysler, so the point is moot there.

I'm not too up to speed on Dodges/Chryslers/Plymouths after ~1973 and didn't follow them closely. The Volare was a great car (with a slant 6).
