Excellent strategy! Ban all energy use except electricity. Don't maintain the electrical infrastructure either. Demand electric cars. Then black outs occur. Just brilliant! Then you can easily deny electric service to the unvaccinated. I took the opposite approach: I see the writing on the wall. I already fled the city. Bought a modest house in the woods with no sewer or water. It has a well and septic. I just installed 10Kwh of batteries + a 6Kw low frequency inverter. This will easily run my pumps and refrigeration. I'm staying connected to the grid, for now because so far the power is cheap. I eventually expect the utility to switch to time of use billing, which I'm prepared for. Then the utility will fail at high demand times. I also have 4Kw of solar panels. I added a wood stove for heat because I expect #2 fuel oil to get expensive. My family thinks I'm a lunatic. I'm totally fine with that.
