I just reload .223 and 300bo (made from .223 brass). I shoot rifle more than anything and if shtf I'm not bringing a pistol to a rifle fight.
I’ve got too much .223 to even think about reloading it. I’ve considered 300 blackout but haven’t pulled the trigger (pun intended) I’m leaning towards .308 I love my S&W AR-10 but it’s loud, very loud! Ear plugs and ear protector loud.
I have tons of guns but I think the most important is a solid rifle that uses common ammo and that can fit in a backpack. I mean a regular J-sport backpack.
I have an original brown stock AR-7 Survival rifle. It’s in my bugout bag. Not there for self defense but for rabbit hunting. I’ve trapped rabbits and squirrels but shooting them works better, in a survival situation there is no time to waste.
