It's different for every person, and for the large majority, it will never come, as they will never go beyond thinking about their most immediate circumstances and filling in the rest of their minds with mindless pursuit of distraction. This isn't a bad thing, most civil wars require no more than 10 percent of the population to rebel in a coordinated fashion in order to successfully kick things off. By successfully I mean that the government or ruling establishment recognize the opposing force as an enemy faction in a wartime scenario, and not as a crazy cult or some domestic terrorists. The biggest factor is territory, if some self sustaining area is designated as belonging to the rebellion, with its own fighters, civilians, systems, and laws, where the representatives of the establishment have been forced out and kept out, that goes along way to the recognition of a legitimate domestic armed conflict. Right now we are in a situation which threatens to descend into the first world civil war, that is, where the western and eastern nations of the world all find themselves in a civil conflict, where both the government forces and rebel forces in every country are allies to those in the others. This is what is most feared at this point, it's why they want to keep the protests in other countries quiet since that could embolden rebellions who would see solidarity with protestors in other countries. The Important thing to keep in mind is that organization and numbers are everything when it cones to civil war and revolution, the fact that a tyrants people hate them is not as much of a threat as the people who know that if they were to strike at the tyrant, others would stand beside them. The difference between a religion or political ideology and a cult is numbers, and numbers are also the difference between a loony and a sane mind, with numbers comes legitimacy, remember that next time you feel self conscious about your opinions.
