...just don't do anything goy! You sure you got your free gift, right?
You may already know this but are being pedantic.
John 14:6 Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 3:5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.”
Jesus did it this way so jews would stop buying and selling salvation. Also, the Lord only helps those who help themselves, so the Lord doesnt want you to stagnate and do nothing. But having salvation should push you to want to do stuff, the Lord doesnt respect slothfulness, but the change you feel within yourself after accepting the Lord into your heart will create a change that will make you want to perform actions. You cannot get to heaven by imitating the actions of a Godly man. You cannot trick God into letting you into heaven.
Do you not realize that God’s kindness is meant to lead you to repentance?
sounds like your whole question is really a straw man statement. Here's a post I made discussing it further. I would not like to discuss the topic of repentance with you as you seem to speak with the undertones of a troll in disguise, and repentance was not the subject of this botched devotional anyways, though it is a mighty fine topic. If you comment on my post I may not reply to you depending on your attitude or approach to discussion. I'm not in the mood to argue about the Bible with a blackpilled or spiteful individual today, I am hardly qualified anyways.
