From the CCP's point of view I suspect it's not so much about depravity, while it's indeed a concern to them when said depravity goes against state's objectives, in fact it's only depravity when it goes against the state's objectives, murder being perfectly fine for instance as long as it serves the state... Their main concern is rather conformity with worship of the state; the state first, anything else second, including god

That’s the “beauty” of judaism from the perspective of a totalitarian state; it’s all about obedience to state, outwardly and publicly, as long as that state is in alignment with the wants and desires of the “faithful,” and that all else must also obey the state in that vein.
