I never really figured it out, but one of the Calvinist theories I remember is that God is not in control of the world, satan is, and hence God only acts as a director to a movie, in which events can be predicted based off behavior. As such, this would essentially mean that satan has control over the entire world. If this is true, wouldn't that mean that any blessings or positive things coming to you would be from satan and not God?

I am not a pastor, but I have studied this question (among others) deeply. It took a few years and listening to multiple sermons of multiple pastors who I trust, and then confirming (or invalidating) what they said in the word.

From the very beginning, God gave MAN control over the earth. If you don’t believe that, then it means that you’re either ignorant to what your Bible actually says in Genesis or you just don’t believe your Bible.

Man (or woman rather) was deceived and then through sin, became separated from God and thus gave that control (authority) over to the unemployed cherub that we call satan.

Until Christ arrived, man did not have his authority over the earth restored.

Now, he DOES have it if he so chooses to accept Christ, understand his identity as a son of God and co-heir of Christ, and then uses that authority.

It doesn’t mean that God doesn’t get involved in our affairs or grant miracles and such. But that’s because he is merciful and has grace.

But as far as having “ultimate control” over earthly affairs as a sovereign? No. And that’s only because God will never violate his own word. And again, remember the words he spoke in Genesis: “I give YOU dominion over the earth and everything in it.” So, he will never violate that because then his word would mean nothing, and that would cause a separate problem that I don’t think most people consider or can even really contemplate.

When a Christian casts out a demon or brings healing to a sick person, yes it is the power of the Holy Spirit that he is using (which is only available to us because of Christ’s sacrifice), but it is still the MAN USING IT.

Now, Christ already won the war on our behalf 2,000 years ago.

But then “why do we still have devil problems” you ask?

I liken it to one of those pacific islands in WWII. When the Japanese surrendered, it officially “ended the war”, technically speaking. But then if you were a US marine in the pacific and you went to one of those islands for some time after the surrender, the Japanese still on that island would still fight you. Some didn’t know the war was over, some may have. But either way, they knew their destiny and had resolved to take as many Americans with them to the grave anyhow.

We have two things at our disposal: our authority in Christ and then God’s intervention. But because God gave us authority from the beginning, he won’t intervene unless we ask him to.. because again, he holds his word above even his own name and will not violate it.

Do you know the first miracle Jesus performed? Casting a demon out of a guy in the synogogue! THAT single act is what put him on the map, and it all went from there. People couldn’t believe it..because up until then, the demons did not listen to people nor take orders from them. The Pharisees tried to cast out demons, but could not. Between that and healing people, Jesus demonstrated the authority that he has in the spiritual realm. And then he GAVE that authority to anyone who would accept him.

It’s why the church is called “the body of Christ.” It’s a quite literal metaphor. He is the head, we are the hands and feet. WE are supposed to exercise the authority of Christ on the earth as his body. Because of him, we now have our authority back that Adam and Eve gave up. It doesn’t mean that sin doesn’t exist. That problem is here until Christ comes back. But we have weapons to fight now.

Jesus is not going to do another thing about the devil. He gave us the authority and the tools. His job has been done for 2,000 years already.

This is why it achieves more for believers to pray against what is going on than to do anything else. Corporate spiritual warfare is what will get us out of this. Lack of it is precisely what got us into it. All of this shit you see happening is the result of war in the spiritual realm.

I’m getting on a tangent now, but…Roe V Wade being overturned lifted a curse off of this country, or at least the states who will no longer participate in murdering children.

Witches and satanists understand the power that was siphoned to the demonic via child sacrifice. IT’S THE REASON THAT THEY FIGHT SO HARD AGAINST US. That was a huge blow to their spiritual power. We need to take advantage. If you’re a Christian, then you have the authority to bind and loose. So, get to it!

Yes, God controls everything. God made Satan. Got could end Satan at any moment if he so wanted. He doesn't want to because that's not the point. Satan is the test. Satan is to (((subversion))) as God is to Faith. Remember, Satan doesn't damn you, God does. Satan doesn't judge you, God does.

In Gnosticism the Sophia created the Demiurge (what we call Satan). Demiurge, believing to be alone and all powerful yet imperfect, created the universe. The Sophia is reclaimed by God, after repentance and purifying. The Demiurge rules and convinces his creations he is God. (the really, really short on that.) This is where David Icke gets his Archonic demons from and what he states is an inversion of reality. Most people can believe any god in their right mind would not pick the jews as his chosen people.

Seems as plausible as any other explanation I've read. There are tons of material for anyone to look up.

There it is, the kike lie. God did not pick jews as his chosen ones. This is known and has been known forever. God chose Judeans as his chosen ones. Not sure why you're in pushing judaism but get the fuck out.

Jesus doesn't endorse jews as God's chosen people ass-hat! They are of their father, the synagogue of Satan. Where do you think he got that idea? This ain't some kinda religious recruitment drive, I just merely offered another perspective on the topic at hand.

It's not a Calvinist theory. When the angels who rebelled against Satan were cast out, their punishment was to torment us to perpetually remind them, all of them, that they exist to serve god. For the diabolical, Earth is hell.
