God has made foolish the wisdom of this world. The gospel is incomprehensible to men and his natural wisdom and ability. For good reason, which we all ought to glory. If it were salvation to be only for a few exceptional people... If it were possible for man to understand the result would be this…..Those born with good brains, able to read, think, understand, would have a great advantage. Only a few would have hope. This kind of gospel can save anyone; a gospel that depends not on my understanding, but is entirely beyond human understanding. Only it depends entirely upon the power of God, for no one can understand it by his own merit; the most illiterate amongst us stands the same chance.
