I dunno I think one of Satan's biggest tricks anymore is this subtle culture of ie "don't care what people think of you" and "you do you" etc.
I agree to what you are saying as well. Satan has convinced the world to worship self over our Father.
I feel that they are subtly injecting and turning people to the core tenements of satanism under the guise of "it sounds good".

What's the opposite of the truth? Lies. What's the opposite of the light? Darkness. What's the opposite of warmth? Cold. What's the opposite of life? Death. What's the opposite of God? Satan.
But God is All. Therefore, God and Satan are One, just as light and darkness are one. God and Satan are two aspects of the All.
As living beings we must seek the truth, seek the light, seek the warmth, seek the life, and seek God.
All is One, but not all is good.
The opposite of God is not Satan. That's a preposterous statement, which betrays a complete ignorance of who God is.
For that matter, I don't think any of us knows enough about God to articulate what would constitute His exact opposite.
e.g. what is the opposite of "exists in three persons?"
I used to have a similar mindset and experience with dualism. However God's word is clear that Satan (Lucifer) is a created being: Ezekiel 28:15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
But we must be careful not to ascribe Lucifer's iniquity (the origination of sin) to God. It was God's mercy and blessing that His creatures should employ free will. For God is Love: 1 John 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
And Love, by its very essence and meaning, must be expressed freely. Forced love is not love; it is rape.
We must read the Scriptures carefully. God created all things that are good, the darkness, He did not create. Read Genesis 1:1-5.
With that said, to say that the things that God created are equal to him is illogical: Isaiah 40:18,25 To whom then will ye liken God? or what likeness will ye compare unto him? To whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One.
God cannot be compared to anything that he has created; just as we cannot be compared to the things in which we create. Our things do not become gods because we create them.
Lucifer has coveted to be God and has tried to use this philosophy from the beginning: Isaiah 14:12-14 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
May we take God's word as it stands, because it is His word; and leave our own interpretations behind: Proverbs 3:5-8 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; And lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, And he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: Fear the LORD, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, And marrow to thy bones.
