Jesus said good parables, something that if put into practice make a better society, while preserving individual freedom.
Also, "who believe in me will have eternal life", so, even Peter said, "who will we go ? you only have words of eternal life"
We cannot be sure of what we are doing, there are no mock tests to know at "what level" we are, this is by design, clearly.
