I guess I need to read the bible again. Seriously though...my view of theocracy is that we have a law given by God...it is then implemented by people as it would be in an anarchical society, with the exception that there is a priestly caste which allows people to stay in a relationship with God despite their lawbreaking behavior. If the priestly caste is removed as an effective body, you have the book of Judges.
