I look around and most churches are some variation of globo homo, give us your money, fuck you over at every turn, guilt trip you to stay. I have lost so much fucking money from church members pretending to be my friend, trying to either steal from me, or lure me into bullshit ideas. And yet I still believe God is real, and that we will get out of our mess. But it just seems like everywhere I look, these churches are just using God as a false pretense to push their own dogma.

A good example, a preacher interpreting the Bible. The thing is the message or sermon is not challenged by anyone. So really it's just human dogma being pushed through the lens of Godly nature. And yet the bible specifically says no to idolatry, so then can we really say the preacher man is not an idol within a church?

You are the one defining it, namely, because you create it as you go... it's all in your head man, nothing like that is real.

It is real, it's just that religion has been used, bastardized, corrupted, everything imaginable.

But the very fact that there's so much counterfeit (and I speak mainly of Christianity) proves it is real.

When you hear 'you must be born again' it is true, it happened to me and others I know throughout the world (relatively though few).

Why give up completely, what if you're wrong?

What if I'm wrong, what if you're right?!?!?!? What if there IS some all powerful entity that created a finite creature and will blame that creature for not playing cosmic hide-n-seek with it and will then torture it for eternity. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeteeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrnity! Do you have any idea how long that is? You could line up the full lifespan of every person who has ever lived, back to back... and you're not even getting started on the numbers.

How does torture for that long compare to any of wrongs a single man has done to another? This genie of your is doing it billions of times over because someone doesn't play the "born again" game?

THAT, my friend, would be more evil than anything Satan could dream up.

I got a safepass though, I'm an official minister for the FSM!

Right, but your logic, which is, well, logical to you, means nothing. Truth is objective, whether it aligns with what you think is fair or not, or right or not, or logical or not. That's what people get hung up on, I did as well.

"There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death."

It's incredibly difficult, impossible without a miracle, for finite created man to let God be God, and master of what He created.

We acknowledge that animal life has no awareness of human life yet we stop there. That doesn't make sense.
