22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. 23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. (Mark 11:22-23 KJV)

First of all you must have your faith in God, and not in yourself or anything else. We have been given the very faith of Jesus Christ to live in us, if we are born again believers (Galatians 5:22-23). So even if we are using the very faith of Jesus, we must still have faith in God, to be able to see the power of God work through us, as faith is what pleases God (Hebrews 11:6).

This verse has many truths in it, and the first is that you must say (speak to) your mountain (your problem), for your faith to be able to work. Jesus is telling us the power of faith if it is used properly. It is necessary to speak, and speak to the problem, to see your faith move mountains. Most Christians are speaking to God about their problems, instead of speaking to their problems about God. You MUST talk to your problems and not just to God about them. Notice also that you must believe when you speak, and not doubt in your heart (unbelief), for your faith to be pure enough to work for you. Unbelief comes from being plugged into this world instead of God, which will cancel your faith (Matthew 17:20). Having God’s kind of faith in God, and in the words you speak, will be powerful enough to move mountains, or cure whatever your problem is. Don’t talk to God about your problems, but speak directly to them with faith, and without unbelief, and they will be cured. Faith, used properly, is so very powerful; it can cure anything that comes at you. Thank you Jesus for giving us your faith.
