C’mon OP, the Jesuit isn’t claiming that Jesus sinned. He claims that “for his little ‘escapade’, Jesus probably had to beg forgiveness of his parents”. Not the same
What do you expect from a jesuit?
Most people don't in what Jesuits are. That's the problem.
Babylon will have fallen when the whole world political and economic system collapses. Then the harlot who rides the beast (catholic church) will be torn apart by the powers who once did her bidding.
wouldn't the harlot who rides the beast be modern israel/international jewry?
No. There are certain characteristics described in Daniel and Revelation that clarify who the Harlot and beast are. The Harlot is a false church, a one world, universal church. That false church sought to change the times and laws of God (see Daniel 7:25) and at the end times (in 6th year, 6th month, 6th day) mankind will have turned his back on God, be worshipping the sun, and practicing idolatry (see Ezekiel 8, particularly 13-16).
The harlot has poured out her abominations on the world and worn out the saints.
Who did all that? Constantine outlawed Sabbath keeping, imposed Sunday worship, and merged paganism with early Christianity. Later popes had three entire regions of the Roman Empire genocided to control access to the Gospel (Daniel 7:8). Catholic means universal. Catholics mix scripture with tradition instead of sticking with scripture and following Christ. Catholicism also teaches praying to Mary, saints, and Angels which is a leftover from paganism and a practice forbidden in the Bible thus they practice and promote idolatry.
The false jews are part of the beast system, the world system, but the Bible tells us the false church rides the beast. Jesuits are everywhere.
God blessed Mary with Jesus and spoke to Joseph to tell him to accept her, and this knuckle head has the audacity to question our Savior's choices? What a maroon.
Of course Jesus sinned. That was the entire point of him manifesting in the flesh in the first place.
He was born as a man He sinned as a man He descended into hell And on the third day he broke the bars of hell and ascended to heaven.
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to hell. The third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty. From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
the descent into hell isn't connected to Christ's life or potential sins.
Jesus Christ wasn't damned to hell for sinning.
He went there to free the righteous souls who had perished before humanity's salvation (often referred to as the harrowing of hell).
i do agree though, He was born a man and likely did sin as a man, but He was never damned to hell, but rather descended on a mission.
All mortal men sin Jesus was a mortal man
Before the Harrowing of Hell all sinners went to hell. Period. Jesus is all about the concept of repentance and forgiveness. He broke the bars of Hell and opened a path to Salvation. There are no bars on Hell. This is a fundamental teaching of the Christian faith. The path to salvation is through asking for, and receiving forgiveness. Jesus opened this path to salvation by walking it himself from beginning to end. He was born. He sinned. He died. He went to Hell. He was forgiven. He ascended to Heaven. The only thing he did different was break the bars of Hell
Jesus did sin. But he learned from his sins.
Please provide a passage. Jesus was the sinless lamb of God. That is how he could atone for all sins. By being blameless he allows us to be cloaked in HIS righteousness before the Father. This is basic Christianity. I encourage you to reread your bible.
Oh, I was talking in the present tense.
15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
Hebrews 4 KJV
It's important to know that Francis turned his friends in to the totalitarian corrupt police when he was young in his native country. (I forget the details but that's the jist of it.) He has always been a sellout who was corruptable.
You've got to remember that what we're dealing with is a fantasy narrative that says Jesus, being the only-begotten son of God, is incapable of sin. It also says he was executed and three days later came back to life. And that he could walk on the surface of water without sinking.
Does any modern person believe any of this? I don't. I think Jesus was a very enlightened prophet and spiritual teacher, which is what the official doctrine of Islam says about him, but he was a human being. Why would he be incapable of sin?
When Jesus drove the money lenders out of the outer court of the Temple, he was angry, right? Where was "turn the other cheek" that day? When he stole produce out of a farmer's field that Jews were forbidden by Jewish law to eat on that day, and ate the produce, was that being without sin? How about when he interfered with a legal execution? Was that sin, or just a violation of the law?
Jesus was a human being, subject to all the failings of all human beings, so of course he sinned. Of course he did. He also made mistakes.
I wonder if it means we should do as jesus did and kick the federal reserve out and punish all irs Congress and IMF who perpetuated their sin of usury and corruption upon us and our children.
