Therefore shall the Lord, the Lord of hosts, send among his fat ones leanness; and under his glory he shall kindle a burning like the burning of a fire.

And the light of Israel shall be for a fire, and his Holy One for a flame: and it shall burn and devour his thorns and his briers in one day; and shall consume the glory of his forest, and of his fruitful field, both soul and body: and they shall be as when a standardbearer fainteth.

And the rest of the trees of his forest shall be few, that a child may write them. And it shall come to pass in that day, that the remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no more again stay upon him that smote them; but shall stay upon the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, in truth.

The remnant shall return, even the remnant of Jacob, unto the mighty God. For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea, yet a remnant of them shall return: the consumption decreed shall overflow with righteousness.

For the Lord GOD of hosts shall make a consumption, even determined, in the midst of all the land. Isaiah 10:16‭-‬23 KJV

There is so much more in this chapter that is great but I didn't want to make the share too long.

All of Isaiah so far is my favorite book in the Bible. I've only read from John through Revelations, and genesis to Isaiah to date. (I got stuck in Psalms for months. Don't know why Songs of Solomon are included, the only good I could see was that you can verify that the people being spoken of are white with blonde or black hair.) But so much of what we are seeing and what I anticipate to happen is very well explained throughout. The only part with the poem is the presence of pride and failure to give credit where it is due.

The poem, for those unfamiliar:

The Wrath of the Awakened Saxon by Rudyard Kipling

It was not part of their blood, It came to them very late, With long arrears to make good, When the Saxon began to hate.

They were not easily moved, They were icy -- willing to wait Till every count should be proved, Ere the Saxon began to hate.

Their voices were even and low. Their eyes were level and straight. There was neither sign nor show When the Saxon began to hate.

It was not preached to the crowd. It was not taught by the state. No man spoke it aloud When the Saxon began to hate.

It was not suddently bred. It will not swiftly abate. Through the chilled years ahead, When Time shall count from the date That the Saxon began to hate.

Rudyard Kipling wrote the Awakened Anglo. It was anti German.

They tried to use the term “white“ to destroy our ethnic identity, but in doing so they unified us in unexpected ways. My ingroup got a lot bigger.

Anglo-Saxon-Alliance FTW.
