It is absolutely true. Thanks for the comment and for reading God's Word. Love, Pastor Joe.

16 If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it. - 1 John 5:16 (KJV)
This is saying that when we see a brother or sister in Christ sin, we are to pray for them, if it is not blasphemy against the Holy Ghost, which is a sin unto death (Matthew 12:31-32, Mark 3:28-29, Luke 12:10). If it is not a sin unto death, then our prayer will save the sinner from destruction. We are not to pray for those that are committing blasphemy against the Holy Ghost, as they are in rebellion against the Lordship of Jesus, when they refuse to follow the commands of the Holy Ghost. Many pastors teach that once save, always saved, but that is not true, as blasphemy against the Holy Ghost, or disobeying Jesus (Hebrews 5:9), can cause a born again believer to be sent to hell. The Holy Spirit gave us a revelation of this, and how it applied to a pastor in Africa named Daniel (who has been on the 700 Club with his testimony), who died and was brought back to life after 5 days. He was shown by an Angel that he would be going to hell, if he was not brought back to life, as he was guilty of blasphemy against the Holy Ghost by not forgiving his wife, when the Holy Ghost told him he must do so. If you are not aware of this, then please go to our web site and the “New Revelations” page, and read about how this could happen. It all depends upon the Christian continuing to let Jesus be their Lord, by following what the Holy Ghost tells us we must do. If you refuse to do what He tells you that you must do, then you are rebelling against Jesus and the Father, and you will be sent to hell, instead of heaven. The bible shows us that your name can be blotted out of the book of life (Revelation 3:5). This was certainly new to me, and I imagine most Christians do not know this can happen to them. Praise God for the Holy Spirit to give us such revelations.
