I'm sure given enough time i can find some redeeming values in these people. however, in this case, it seems like a lot of church families/couples have very broken communication. in this case i was trying to rehome a cat, didn't think it was a big deal. the wife said one thing, which is to agree to rehome him, and the husband said he hated cats, and didn't like having one. he said it was forced upon him against his decisions. in these cases i usually reverse the decision, so now i'm gonna go and get my cat back. but this entire bullcrap issue could have been completely avoided had this couple talked to each other for more than 2 minutes of their day. now i look like the idiot who forced a cat on them. and this is also at the time i realized that relying on a church family for anything, is a sure fire way to live a life of disappointment. this is also not the first time i've had to deal with these petty issues, which have only come back to bite me in the butt
