... We consecrate to thee our very being and our whole life; all that we have, all that we love, all that we are. To thee we give our bodies, our hearts and our souls; to thee we give our homes, our families, our country. We desire that all that is in us and around us may belong to thee, ... ... She gave up her Mother's rights over her Son to procure the salvation of mankind, and to appease the divine justice, ... together with Christ she has redeemed the human race. ... To procure our salvation, Mary gave up to God her motherly rights over her Son, immolating her Son by her consent to God's plan. Because she was without original sin, death had no right over her ... Yeah I read it the first time. I've also read patristic literature, the literal libraries of writings that clarify the Roman Catholic beliefs and doctrine. I think that supersedes a few prayers you dug up that I've never even heard in my life (despite growing up in a Roman Catholic household) and interpreting them in a very specific way. You are very clearly providing the most uncharitable interpretation you can possibly conjure up and actively looking for ways to discredit the Roman Catholics, rather than actually learning about their beliefs and disagreeing with it on the basis of what their beliefs actually are. There is plenty to critique. Intelligently and honestly, instead of just lying and pulling stuff out of your ass to make them sound like the ULTRA bad guy squad. I do not like the RCC but that doesn't mean I devolve into mindlessly demonizing them.
