**Daily Devotional** **June 7** *35 But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come? 36 Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die: - 1 Cor 15:35-36 (KJV)* Many people question the Word of God because us humans always try to relate to everything in a carnal way. We always want to know how this can be, yet we see many things God has made that we don’t understand how they work, but they just do. Jesus was raised from the dead as it says in the Gospel accounts (Matthew 28:6, Mark 16:6, Luke 24:3 & 23), and He had a spiritual body, but it had flesh and bone (Luke 24:39). Jesus was not raised a spirit, but was given a spiritual body (1 Corinthians 15:44 & 49). When Jesus comes again we will be like Him, and have the same type of spiritual body – praise God. Everything that God has made, including us, reproduces by planting seeds, and the seed must change before it can grow into a body. If you plant a seed of corn in the earth, and if it has moisture and sunlight, it will die and grow into a stalk of corn. The same thing happens with all seeds, and us humans have no clue as to how this happens – it just does because God made it that way. The same way that a seed grows into something entirely different when it grows up, is the same way that we will resurrect into something different when we are raised up, and we don’t know how it happens, but we know it will happen.
