Ok, asshole, well what Jesus actually said was "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." John 10:10. Refugees and illegals are thieves.
Didn’t he also kick the money lenders’ asses and throw them down the stairs of the temple?
You mean the jewish temple? because they were in violation of the jewish laws? why would a gentile care about any of that?
This guy could also have been strongly against capitalism, considering he was against being wealthy, idolized the poor, and commanded his followers simply give all their shit away (the "sword" is the gospel, hence squaring away the seeming contradiction between his command to give everything away, and his latter command, with the other statemnt about being the sword that divides families against each other being an indication that his "sword" wasn't a literal physical one, but rather divisive teaching, as he was leading a schism).
If anti-capitalism, hating the rich, and worshipping hobos is your thing, then antifa only needs to identify as Christian for them to be closer to Christ than you will ever be.
Also, as I said, when it comes to following Jesus's example vs abiding by his commandments, Christians are expected to do the latter and not the former, when he said to not resist those who trespass against you, he was closer to his death, wanting to become like god was mankind's first and worst sin.
