Daily Devotional

May 13

7 Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? 8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. 9 If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; 10 Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me. - Psalms 139:7-10 (KJV)

God is everywhere, and there is no place in the universe that you could go and not have God there. What a God we have, to be everywhere, all the time. This means that there is no way to flee out of His presence. He is in heaven, and even is in hell – what a thought, as His presence is everywhere. If one was a God hater, you should know that you have no place to run to, so that you can get away from our God.

If you fly away in the air somewhere, God is there. If you get in a submarine and go down to the bottom of the sea, God is there. He is just everywhere, and we, who are born again, should be so very glad that His presence is with us anywhere we should go. Those of us, who are born again, not only should know that God is everywhere with them, but He now lives in us (Galatians 2:20), and has promised to never leave or forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). What a comfort to Christians to know that God is always in us, and will guide us through life, as it is not in man to guide his own steps (Jeremiah 10:23). Praise God for His faithfulness to us, His children, to always be there to guide us through life. If you don’t have the born again experience, you need to visit our web site and go to the “Gospel” link, and get saved, so God will guide you. Praise God for all our blessings.
