Prayer does work. But what most people don't realize is that prayer is a form of magic, and in order for it to be effective, it has to be done in a certain state of consciousness. I'm talking here about prayers for help. Sorry, but simply talking to God won't cut it. That may make you feel better, but it's not true prayer, which is a magical act.

The christian belief supposes that the god is anthropomorphic.
Why would the all powerful god take on the form of a powerless and primitive species like us?

We take an anthropomorphic position because he said we were formed in his image and likeness.
He came in the flesh to overcome the temptations that led to the breaking of his original covenant with Israel; so that the Levitical law could be fulfilled, and a new covenant could be made with a new Israel.

If we are formed in his image, why does an all powerful god need a nose to breathe, a mouth to eat, and an anus to poop? Isn't that strange how he seems to need physiological activities to survive?
