Check out Habakkuk, it's one of those lesser-known OT books, but as you read it you will feel the frustration that Habakkuk felt when he witnessed evil triumph over his nation.

From Habakkuk 1:

How long, Lord, have I called for help, And You do not hear? I cry out to You, “Violence!” Yet You do not save. Why do You make me see disaster, And make me look at destitution? Yes, devastation and violence are before me; Strife exists and contention arises. Therefore the Law is ignored, And justice is never upheld. For the wicked surround the righteous; Therefore justice comes out confused.

“Look among the nations! Watch! Be horrified! Be frightened speechless! For I am accomplishing a work in your days— You would not believe it even if you were told!"

We are experiencing the woes of Habakkuk, the world is becoming like Sodom and Gomorrah, Egypt, and Babylon; and we are seeing the prophecies of Nahum, Zephaniah, and Obadiah come to pass.

Isaiah warned that people would place their trust in political alliances over the promises of God. Jeremiah warns about serving false gods and sacrificing children. Ezekiel warns of a worldwide conflict. These 3, along with Daniel, all promise a restoration of God’s remnant, faithful people, and the promise of God’s kingdom; though correction will come to all who need refinement.
