I've started reading the Bible

When I was 12 my school handed out small Gideon Bibles that had a daily reading schedule, so that over the course of two years, you'd have read the whole NT. I read it twice. Got nothing from it. Fast forward 40 years, and the knocks and scrapes of life, and here I am - thoroughly disillusioned with the world (boo-hoo, woe is me lol).

So I bought a leather bound KJV red letter edition (Jesus's words are printed in red) and I am reading Matthew then will read Mark, Luke and John. With what I have learned through living, the Word is beginning to make sense. My impression is that Jesus is no softy - he rebukes and remonstrates, criticises and condemns, but at last I am starting to see the light of Christ.

It seems to me that by taking my fill of what this world has to offer - and being sickened with it and finally pouring it away - my cup is empty and ready to be filled with the love of the living Christ. At 12 I was not receptive. My mind was occupied with worldly things. At 52 I stand ready to reject this devilish world and surrender. Well, almost. It's not easy but I'm making a start.

No wonder children strangle themselves with their dressing gown belts. They hang themselves from their bunk beds because this world is utterly horrific.

The world is horrific. But God has shown us why it is horrific and who is responsible.

It is our job to unite as a race, fight, sacrifice, and earn our spot in heaven. God continues to show us the consequences of what will happen if we sit back and do nothing.

Our free will decides if we turn our backs to God and what he has shown us, or if we accept God and accept the tasks that he has put in front of us.

No matter how many times, or for how long, we have sat back doing nothing about all the evil God has shown us - God will forgive us if we sincerely apologise.

And an apology consists of 3 things. Admitting what we did was wrong. Righting that wrong. And proving that we will make sure it never happens again.

We all need to acknowledge that God has shown us the evil that exists in this world, who is responsible for it, and that we have done nothing to stop it. We need to fight like the state of our souls, the souls of our people, our race, depend on it (because they do). And continue until our race has taken back this world in its entirety and ensured evil will never be able to take hold of it ever again.

If we truly accept God and his purpose for us, we will be rewarded. Maybe not in this life, but if we fight and sacrifice to earn our reward, we will be rewarded.

But if we do nothing and turn our backs to the utterly horrific things God has shown us......
