The situation of the Jews is very simple. They backed the wrong horse. They made a tribal pact with a being they believed to be God, but it was not God. It was the Demiurge, whom Christians would call Satan. Jews made a pact with the Devil. In return for power and wealth, they agreed to sacrifice to Satan and worship him in perpetuity, and to call him God. The true God tolerated the Jews until they murdered Jesus, and then all bets were off. He cursed the Jews, destroyed their Temple, and scattered them across the face of the world. Jews still worship Satan. Christians worship the true God through his Son, Jesus the Christ.
