Gather anyway, just don't use the word easter. Gather to celebrate the rising of Christ our Lord. He did it on a Sunday. Tough to say which one.

We aren't commanded not to gather on days used by pagan gods or we wouldn't be able to gather on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, or Saturday as ALL the common day names are derived from pagan worship.

Gather for the RIGHT reason and celebrate Christ.

I'm hoping to have an impact upon my family to do this. This year it's too late to have any influence, they're set up for eggs and the whole shebang.
