22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. - Gal 5:22-23 (KJV)
What a wonderful fact, that our born again Spirit has all this within it. When we, who are born again (John 3:3), are walking after the spirit and letting it live through us, we will have all these qualities in our life. The closer you get with God, the more pronounced these things become in your life. There is no worldly comparison with the love, joy and peace that you experience in your life, when you are letting the Spirit lead you, and remain close to the Lord everyday. The absolute peace that comes from God, through His Spirit within you, is something that all us humans look for, and so many try to find this peace in the world, by using drugs, alcohol, etc., but will never find it that way. God placed a great desire for His peace within each of us and He is the only way you can obtain it.
Notice that faith is one of the fruits. All born again Christians have the same faith that Jesus has, in their spirits, as it is written that we have all been given THE measure of faith (Romans 12:3), the same measure that Jesus has. Many times you hear people say that they need more faith, but that is not so, as Jesus taught that you only need a mustard seed amount of faith to move a mountain if you don’t have unbelief (Matthew 17:20). The problem is not a lack of faith, but it is the amount of unbelief that we have in our hearts. Hearing all the bad news of this world everyday causes our hearts to be filled with unbelief, and that makes our faith not work. Death and life are in the words you speak, read, and hear (Proverbs 18:21). Fill your heart with the Word of God (Romans 12:2), and not the bad news of this world, and your faith will begin to work miracles for you. Praise God for the Fruit of the Spirit!
