12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. - Heb 9:12 (KJV)

This verse is contrasting the Old Testament way of sacrifices of animals, with the new sacrifice of Jesus. The old sacrifices of animals could never forgive sins, but were only a picture of what Jesus would come and do for those who would accept Him. Jesus didn’t enter into the Temple on earth, but He entered into the Temple of God in heaven, and put His own blood on the altar in heaven to forgive our sins. By doing so, He atoned for the sins of the whole world (1 John 2:2), past, present and even future sins. That does not mean that everyone will be saved, but it does mean that everyone’s sins have been forgiven, but you must be born again by believing in Jesus (John 3:3), before you can be saved. It is all about Jesus.

Notice that Jesus entered in once, and obtained eternal redemption for us. You can not be saved, then lost, then saved again as some teach. If you ever become a reprobate by turning away from the Lord, then you can not be saved again, as Jesus is not going to die for you again. Our redemption is eternal as long as we obey Jesus (Hebrews 5:9), but even though we have eternal redemption, we can still fall away and become a reprobate, or we can go back under the law by trying to earn our own righteousness. God does not force us to stay saved, anymore than He will force us to be saved – it is our choice. You can also miss heaven, and be sent to hell, for committing blasphemy against the Holy Ghost (Matthew 12:31-32). You can not be just born again, saved, and stuck, as you must continue following the commands of Jesus to insure your salvation, and keep your name from being blotted out of the Book of Life (Revelation 3:5). Praise God for all His blessings to us, His children.
