Continuing on to understanding the dress rehearsal of Moses and Jesus' fulfillment. 18 Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood. 19 For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people,
20 Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you. 21 Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry. 22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
Jesus Fulfilled everything that Moses prequelled. On the first Feast of Weeks/Pentecost... Moses had the tables of the law written on stone. The covenant was made in blood and the people said, Yes we will do all that God has commanded us...
Jesus fulfills this act when he sent the Holy Spirit on Pentecost, (tongues of fire) to write the Law upon our hearts, which is the new covenant Hebrews 10:16. (instead of the law written on stone, they are now upon the hearts of those that believe, and they do naturally the things contained in the law, shewing that they are written upon their hearts [Romans 2:15])
That we through the baptism/ sharing in the death and resurrection of Christ (Romans 6)- will live unto righteousness and be born again. That means you can stop sinning. It is the gospel message.
