I don't have much of an opinion since I don't know much about him but if I was to formulate one based on his stance as an Orthodox and views on the absolutism of the bible then my opinion is this...
I am not a fan of any religion that leads down the path to an empire. I am not an absolutist on religion, I recognize the merits of Christianity as a religion of freedom and fighting against the system of status quo. And as a way to form communities for Europeans as freedom loving people. But I do not believe in god the way religious people do.
The Holy Roman Empire for instance was a den of corruption. I do not believe in people who claim to speak for god. So I do not believe the Vatican has a place in Christianity. It's a tool for wealth acquisition and unchallenged authority.
I believe that our genetics is our god. As Adolf Hitler said, "The greatest possession you have is your own people." I absolutely believe that our social and moral structure is based on herd mentality which comes from our genetic code to recognize our own as a group for the reason of self-preservation and survival.
Whether this is a limitation or not, there is plenty of evidence to show that it is a good thing and that it has led to great things when it isn't interfered with by subversion.
You simply have to look at the failures of multiculturalism and Marxist socialism to see that this is true.
Orthodox authority and repression is garbage. Spiritual connection to one's race no matter the means but true to the spirit of Christ and the Dostoevsky interpretation leads to progress within a free but isolated society that trades outwards with other societies but inwardly only allows compensation in the form of foreign achievement but never foreign genetics.
