Has anyone else heard the myth that Christ has never been absent from the earth since the death of Jesus on the cross? The myth says that when Jesus died, the soul of Christ flew into a newborn baby, and that baby grew up to be Christ, with full knowledge of his identity and his power. He spent his life observing humanity, and when he died, the Christ soul flew from his body to another newborn baby, who became the incarnate Christ and observed us all his life. For almost two thousand years, Christ has reincarnated from one human watcher to another, so that he has always been present without a moment of absence. The reason he watches is because it is not yet his time to declare himself or reveal his power. He watches us, and waits for the signal from his Father to act.
