I have no real problem with these events but, you'll mostly get LARPers. People dressing up for the day and acting out a fantasy based on whatever fairy tale they fancy. It's like ComiCon for people who watched the Marvel Movies and think that's what Thor is.

Actually there kind of is. To be a Heathen, you must be Germanic. There is no way around this part. It's an ancestral construct. There isn't anything of value to someone who isn't Germanic.

It's Anti-Zionist by nature of being ancestral. We have no relation to Israel. We have no allegiance to Israel. We have no Heroic-Epic that includes Israel. We have no incentive to "reclaim the holy land" (apart from the Germanic Fatherland). We have no prophecy about rebuilding the temple to bring forth Revelation or whatever the fuck Evangelical-Christians believe. There is no Pro-Zion narrative.
The best case scenario for the Jews is, they stop subverting our culture and we won't put a hatchet in their face. But as long as they continue, we are strictly Anti-Zion. We are the natural predator of the Jew. We are the Anti-Christ.

Well, unfortunately, we are a lawful people, so our hands are tied at the moment. But, for one, we don't worship a Jew as our Lord and Savior. That goes a long way.
Thanks for your thoughtful reply. It occurred to me after I posted this that, because it’s been at least ten years since I participated in those events, things might be quite different. Lo and behold, the entire situation is apparently more politicized these days. Apparently, ten+ years ago, common interest in European pagan cultural roots was more important than associated political implications. They were all still roughly united against the prevailing mainstream culture, in my part of the world. Since then, apparently, the Norse-types have become ethnic nationalists. That wasn’t really a thing back when.

Nothing has changed on the "Norse-types" front. We've always been tribal. The thing that changed is, 10 years ago nobody cared. We are White Supremacists, but we are POSITIVE White Supremacists, meaning we would RATHER focus on improving ourselves than spend our time bickering with the other races/ethnicities.
But now that political correctness has gotten out of hand, it isn't possible to be a Positive White Supremacist. You can't even say "It's OK to be White".

My ancestors were largely serfs snd peasants. Not entirely, but mostly. If you go back far enough, back into their pre-Christian ancient past, you’ll find that they, themselves, were of the type that were principally concerned with whether or not God really exists, and what we should do about it.
They were not so much conquerors or kings, as they were salt-of-the-earth, hard-working, nose-to-the-grindstone sorts of skilled tradesmen. They believed the Ancient Faith. They looked forward to Christendom, though they themselves couldn’t realize that’s what it was going to be.

The fact that Christ chose to become a jew doesn’t somehow extend special favor to the jews who rejected their own Messiah; on the contrary, True Christians realize the jews are more akin to the body of Satan than anything else; having selectively bred specifically for the traits that reject Christ for nearly 2000 years.

Now, in light of that, understand that I’m Orthodox, specifically because I reject Papism, but nonetheless believe the Traditional Catholic Faith. TradCats will argue I’m a schismatic for rejecting the Roman Papacy, but I believe they are the schismatics. Regardless, we overwhelmingly agree on Higher things, but Orthodoxy is much more compatible-in-principle with Ethnic Nationalism. So that’s what I am - an Orthodox Monarchist, who believes EthNat is the functional reason why traditional kingdoms worked so well. They were Ethnic Nationalist by default.
I believe that model - and not the Globalism which is more compatible with Papism - is what God had in mind. It is completely natural, and well within the Providence of God, for the Races of the Earth to assert and defend themselves and their posterity.
