Jews today do. Jews before Christ had no New Law to reject
Where in the Jewish Torah or the Talmud does it respect the New Testament, rather than mock it and Jesus Christ?
Can you substantiate your claim, or do you just assume Jews respect the life and teachings of Jesus Christ... the person they refer to as a heretic who deserved to die and be boiled in semen and shit?
I mean no disrespect, but you don't seem to be understanding what I'm trying to express. The fault may be mine in being unclear.
What I am doing is differentiating between "the Jews" as the contemporary group we know today, and the Hebrews living under the Old Covenant.
I am absolutely not denying that Jews today reject Christ, that their vile Talmud blaspheme Him, that their very revolutionary and subversive identity is interwoven with their rejection of the Divine Logos, our Savior. I affirm all of this.
What I am saying is that the Old Testament Hebrews did not as a totality reject Jesus Christ, because the Logos had not yet become Incarnate. In other words, under the Old Law they were still rightfully awaiting the Messiah; there was no Messiah to reject.
Because this is the case, and because I view the particularly unique subversive nature of the Jews as a result of rejecting Christ, then I believe we must distinguish categorically between the Old Testsment Jews, and those Jews living under the New Testsment who, by remaining Jews, have forsaken the Christ.
