Honestly I'm not entirely sure what my conclusion is, I'd like to say I have it all figured out but there are too many unanswered questions.

Well the bible does say that the devil is the god of this earth. The bible also states that we are loved by God many times and it's our choice to except and follow him or not except his love and follow some other god or idle. So I believe the earth is filled with God's love and presence but it's everyones individual job/prerogative/right to except that or deny it.

Do you have a scripture verse I can look up? I never really got past the old testament.

here is the verse about the god of this world, aka satan/devil. other translations actually say satan/devil but I prefer either NKJV or just KJV. I'll compile some verses about God's love after church
