It is my understanding that China is providing a lot but not for free. They are enslaving Africa via crushing debt they cannot repay.
And the "workers and security personnel" are Chinese Army Regulars who won't worry about appearing racist when they start slaughtering the Africans who resist.
Wdym, China does this everywhere along the maritime, the Leases are actually relatively small but its the fact that they do this with poor countries, its not some sort of exploitation as both sides get the benefits, for example Sir Lanka’s new port.
It’s actually really smart on China’s end and more noble than what prior anglo colonization had done basically thieving and using Slaves for the benefit of their country. It is not the same thing.

It is giving China access to a lot of natural resources and wealth. At some point that could come back to bite us.
What happens to the Africans isn't my concern.
If we let it happen, we deserve it.
Obviously I don’t want China to get more power, but it’s our own fault.
