Not sure what that is but it sounds like they don't actually kill him.
Edit: I looked it up and I'm even more confused. It's a death sentence with a two year suspension and if at the end of those two years you have committed more crimes you get the death penalty but if you do good deeds the death sentence is changed to prison or parole depending all the way up to life sentences.
