You don't know much about the Korean War if you say that. Multi 300k+ man offensives in sub zero weather with one man carrying a weapon and three with ammo behind him ready to take it when the next falls. All with officers following to shoot anyone turning back.

That's fighting for a cause not a paycheck like this military. That's all without a government selling the country from under the people.

The problem with running a military like this in the modern age- it's not nearly as easy to conceal shit like summary executions anymore. Even with increasingly strict control over the internet and flow of information in China, they still get around it- and when coming into contact with enemy forces, they might defect en masse.

Think about it- you think the average Chinese soldier is highly motivated to invade the USA, if that motivation is mostly "I'll be murdered by my officers if I don't fight"? Idk, I think there's a lot more political turmoil in China than we're aware of. The Hong Kong protests were a quick glimpse into it, and what were those Chinese citizens carrying into the protest? What flag? They weren't waving the Chinese flag. They were waving OUR flag as a symbol of freedom from tyranny. This would be an enemy that would have massive numbers of their ranks feeling very sympathetic towards the West.

Also China has no real navy to speak of, so a land invasion is practically out of the question... unless some traitor general fucking orders our fleet to stand down and let the Chinese slip into the USA without resistance. Very likely scenario, we've learned that the degree to which our intelligence agencies are compromised is absolutely shocking. This is either the result of incompetence or corruption/treason; my guess is that it's some mixture of the two.
