Can we poison their model so it constantly brings up things like Tenimum square using sign language?

From the post:

>China’s efforts to employ AI as a means of improving access to media for its deaf population aren’t going well, according to a professor at Beijing Normal University’s Faculty of Education. Writing at an outlet called Sixth Tone, professor Zheng Xuan notes that China is home to 20.5 million people with hearing disabilities, and that the nation’s government has encouraged use of avatars and virtual presenters to provide real-time translation of some television programs.

Have you ever watched a movie or show with audio and closed caption on?

With most, the text is great, accurately represents what is being said or heard.

There was a period of time around 2010-on I started seeing some very weird closed caption text. Any show or movie that had whites with other races the person typing the text would make up a rayciss dialogue totally different from what was being said or implied. Others would misspell or not keep up with the dialogue, leave out whole segments of conversation. It seemed to happen often during the Obummer years. Most if not all had captions provided by the National Captioning Institute in VA. All I could picture were poorly educated DEI hires (back before DEI was a thing) do the work and no one was proofreading their sloppy and misleading work.

Interesting, I never have paid attention to that as I don't really turn on CC for anything.

I assume you have to be right though, a whole lot of DEI = Failure at every single level and no one calls them out because... well, no one notices or it just reinforces what they "want" to be said.

Yeah, I figured few noticed it. 99.9% don't turn it on. Of the few that do, the hearing impaired think the CC is accurate. When the house gets noisy I flipped on CC instead of turning the volume way up.

I meant to complain but I never did. About the same time PBS channels started digging up, pulling the scab off and rubbing salt in every race issue documentary they could muster from US history. Obummer wanted to enrage racial tensions long forgotten.
