Fuck China. We should be trying to source this from allies or on our own land. Not making them wealthy doing it.

From the post:

>China announced Tuesday it is banning exports to the United States of gallium, germanium, antimony and other key high-tech materials with potential military applications, as a general principle, lashing back at U.S. limits on semiconductor-related exports. The Chinese Commerce Ministry announced the move after the Washington expanded its list of Chinese companies subject to export controls on computer chip-making equipment, software and high-bandwidth memory chips. Such chips are needed for advanced applications.

Lmao. The CIA will just straw purchase through a system of shell companies. Just like how the USA got all that Russian titanium to build it's new SR-71 Blackbirds back in the day. And plenty more stuff, I'm sure.

China says... Trump is probably gonna make Xi his bitch. (Xi is gay, btw.)

China will love that. Its how they... and basically every other country get around shit like ITAR.

We had plenty of gallium arsenide before 1985 without China. We used it to manufacture ECL (Emitter Coupled Logic) semiconductor devices, fast switching as hell but they love to eat the power ... ~40mW per gate.

So much for semiconductors, LEDs, solar cells, optical systems, fiber optics, infrared optics, flame retardants, alloys, and battery applications.

Back to Vacuum tubes!
