I'm envisioning a "mad moment" where all the AI devices equipped with very sharp scalpels begin carving up and amid the screams of the eviscerated, the AI laughs and sings "ching-a-ling-ding I'm a naughty ting, ring-a-ding-bing".
I think you are projecting way to far into the future.
The robots they are talking about are more likely trained AI designed to give a diagnostic to people. Thus saving time for nurses and doctors to deal with patients that need real medical assistance.
I hope you are correct. But, I see a time in the future where my prediction may come to pass.
