I have read multiple articles/studies that of the majority of people that have bought an EV said they would not be buying another one ever again and are not interested in having an EV at all now.

If I could get one for dirt cheap just as a grocery getter then maybe I would consider it but I don't have a real need and it would not replace any gas vehicle(s) I have.

I thought of that, but... even if someone said "here, take this brand new EV for free." I would not want it. Incidental costs such as taxes, registration, high insurance costs, higher repair costs, rapid tire wear, problems with winter battery charging and the shame I'd get with people thinking that I'm virtue signaling just isn't worth the headaches. Not interested. The best I can muster is an electric golf cart... maybe.

Yeah, depending on where you live you can drive a golf cart on the road if you add the proper lights and register it with a plate. Usually non-diverse wealthy neighborhoods around golf courses...
