Those particular blocks are obviously faulty. That doesn't mean the construction method doesn't work. But I don't know much about construction anyways so let's see what the trademen here have to say.

hollow blocks of plaster and fiberglass weave
Those aren't strong. Those would work as a living room table. For about 12 hours until it disintegrates.
