I don't care about what China does with their Muslims and I resent the implication that millions of Jews experienced this treatment in the holocaust. It's nice that China is trying to preserve something of the European civilizations though. In case the Eiffel Tower was bombed or burned down by a lone wolf with no known motives, for example, it would be nice to know that a likeness is preserved somewhere.
