Okay, so you would defend yourself.
Obviously I don't agree with your other beliefs. Reincarnation is totally contrary to Christianity. Reincarnation means there is no eternal hell. To say Christians are not supposed to proselytize basically means the Apostles and the Saints and martyrs were wrong in what they did to spread Christianity across the world.
The protestants started this belief of sola scripture (bible alone). I was commenting on the subject of zionist "Christian" earlier and I found a short concise E Michael Jones video that addresses bible alone, https://www.bitchute.com/video/4GBaPrvDWWM/
I can't get video to play right today. I'll have to watch it later. I feel I need to say this though, reincarnation is not unheard of in the Bible. John the Baptist was a reincarnation of Elijah. The Bible says that, then theologians try to say it meant something else. Jesus was asked why a baby was born blind, was it something the baby had done in another life? Jesus said no. So the idea was around.
Some people deserve to be punished even severely, but I would like to think over an eternity any soul can be redeemed. Considering the circumstances some people, children are born into, It is not a level playing field. Truth is, I don't know so I count on reason and guidance from many sources instead of one. Jews don't believe in Hell, so why do Christians? It really comes from Zoroastrianism.
It is a control mechanism. Fear. There is no reason to fear God. Fear yourself.
I fear God. "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom..." Psalm 110:10
God is the one who decides where you go for eternity. He is the judge. Not the creature. Hell has to be eternal or else it wouldn't be hell. There is no time in the after life. It's an unchangeable state. Unless you go to purgatory which is another topic. Talmudism or what they call Judaism is not the same religion of Mary and Joseph. That religion is the descendent of the Pharisees. They don't believe in an eternal hell. Their version of hell is more similar to purgatory from what I've heard.
What makes you think the belief of a hell came from the Zoroastrianism?
Zoroastrianism is older and held that belief long before Christianity. https://www.bbc.co.uk/religion/religions/zoroastrian/beliefs/god.shtml
FTA "It is generally accepted that in the Abrahamic religions, the concepts of Heaven and Hell, as well as the Devil, were heavily influenced by Zoroastrian belief."
I'm not questioning your faith, it's just mine is different. I would never ask or insist you do anything because of what I believe.
