Thus, there is an appeal to tradition before there is an appeal to the Scriptures, and Protestants generally ignore this fact.

2 Tim. 3:15 - Paul then appeals to the sacred writings of Scripture referring to the Old Testament Scriptures with which Timothy was raised (not the New Testament which was not even compiled at the time of Paul's teaching). This verse also proves that one can come to faith in Jesus Christ without the New Testament.

2 Tim. 3:16 - this verse says that Scripture is "profitable" for every good work, but not exclusive. The word "profitable" is "ophelimos" in Greek. "Ophelimos" only means useful, which underscores that Scripture is not mandatory or exclusive. Protestants unbiblically argue that profitable means exclusive.

2 Tim. 3:16 - further, the verse "all Scripture" uses the words "pasa graphe" which actually means every (not all) Scripture. This means every passage of Scripture is useful. Thus, the erroneous Protestant reading of "pasa graphe" would mean every single passage of Scripture is exclusive. This would mean Christians could not only use "sola Matthew," or "sola Mark," but could rely on one single verse from a Gospel as the exclusive authority of God's word. This, of course, is not true and even Protestants would agree. Also, "pasa graphe" cannot mean "all of Scripture" because there was no New Testament canon to which Paul could have been referring, unless Protestants argue that the New Testament is not being included by Paul.

Long time if you mean like around 50 years. The judeo-masons figured out they could not attack the Catholic Church from outside of her so instead they attacked her from within which they finally succeeded in doing in the past century. They created an impostor Church with the Vatican II council. They created a new religion from that VII council that parades itself as Catholic but isn't. Today, you have billions of Catholics who believe they belong to the Catholic Church, but it isn't the Catholic Church. It's an impostor lead by an apostate anti-pope and thousands of heretical bishops and priests who hold to the Vatican II religion which is really the religion of man and not Christ. Those in this new religion don't understand the deception, don't know the Catholic faith, or are in denial.

I have been a student of religions all of my life, and now my beliefs are a mixture of many different beliefs that harmonize. I was raised Baptist Christian, and was obsessed with prophecy for many years. Even though the Revelation and Daniel are deeply veiled, one comes to a general understanding of what it is saying is going to happen. I really don't know very much about the Catholic Church, but I do know that it is supposed to be completely evil in the Last Days. What I am seeing is all these things falling into place that tell me these things are happening. It said God would change peoples' hearts to make it all happen. I can easily believe that. Something very heavy is happening. Never mind the politics.

I use to hold to that same belief that my belief about spirituality was a culmination of all the different beliefs I had studied, but I came to realize this is not true because these other belief I held contradict Christianity because I didn't understand Christianity. For example reincarnation doesn't mesh with Christianity. There is a heaven and hell. Souls don't go back to earth. When they leave the earth they either go to heaven or hell.

The Catholic Church is the most lied about and slandered organization in history. However the deception is so great today that the true Catholic Church is in eclipse. A number of saints have foretold about the future of the Church.

The prophecy of Our Lady of La Salette, Sept. 19, 1846: “Rome will lose the Faith and become the seat of the Anti-Christ… the Church will be in eclipse.”

The prophecy of Luke 18:8- “But yet the Son of man, when he cometh, shall he find, think you, faith on Earth?”
