I don't know who those people are but there is a good chance no one ever accused them of being "too smart".

Article states that some bystanders broke a window and saved the survivor with non-life threatening injuries. I guess the fire had already burned the remaining occupants before the rescue was attempted? It sort of seems unlikely that one could be rescued with minor injuries while four others perished.. there must be more to the story.
