Fools thought they could wave the Obama wand and make thousands of EV stations appear overnight along with the thicker, and better insulated electric lines, bigger transformers, and more robust power plants.
Well guess what? We are a nation that currently has a shortage of transformers, and China has control of that industry.
The severe dependence on utility has made the EV dead long before a design was put to paper. The best the nation can do is scheduled brownouts.
