It's a modified back seet apparently and generally pretty standard inside for the era, folding bench seats etc.

I had a friend that had one. Not this model but same generation. The seats did swivel. Awesome ride. I think it got about 8 mpg.

My dad had an all black 2nd gen Toronado. 455 Rocket V8, power everything, 8 Track, loooong coup doors and pulldown armrest in the backseat that was the perfect perch for lil ol' me. We called it, "The Danger Seat, " and it was the perfect vantage to witness the highways and byways of leaded gasoline America in style.
